About LearningTested

Learning products are easy to market and hard to judge. An app can keep a child busy without teaching much, a curriculum can look complete and skip the practice that builds fluency, and a course can promise a career it cannot deliver. LearningTested compares learning products on what they teach, how they teach it and what evidence supports the method.

We cover early learning, reading and math, STEM and coding, languages, homeschooling, test prep, online courses and certificates, study tools and classroom supplies. Toys and baby gear belong to KidNoted, and telescopes to AstronomyTested. We do not give individual educational or medical diagnoses; talk to your child's teacher, school or a qualified specialist.
